Rare book, rebound in simple, plain (no title), dark leather boards. Stamped 'Library of Hannibal Hamlin,' Abraham Lincoln's Vice President. Underlining and margin notes possibly in his hand (appears so). Pages have original Stansby watermark. Leather boards have edge wear, scratches, scuffs, rubbed corners/spine, slightly chipped. Pages have water stains in margins, dirt smudges, some age browning and age spots, some foxing and bent page corners, a couple pages creased. Dirt on edge.
