On occasion, we won’t have the book you are looking for in our store. We may be able to find another bookstore in Iowa City that does have the book in stock. If not, we may be able to special order the book for you.

You may have seen 1-800 numbers advertising “book searches” in the Yellow Pages. We have access to the same databases and can order the book for you at a lower fee. All we require is a deposit on the item (nonrefundable unless we can’t get the book as promised) and for you to show up in person to make the order (we don't do special orders over the phone or via e-mail). We’ll contact you when the book arrives at the store, which normally takes three weeks or less.
